Amanda Blake is a Makeup Department Head and HMU/SFX Makeup Artist specializing in beauty, character, and special effects makeup for film, television, and commercial productions. With more than a decade of professional makeup experience, Amanda brings a versatile skill set to set. from polished, camera-ready beauty and corrective makeup to character transformations, prosthetics, injury simulation, and practical effects.
Her Department Head and Key Makeup Artist feature film credits include: (Selected) Catch a Killer, Take From Me, San Francisco Bae, Miracle on the Precipice, Straight Shot, An Ode to Mary Jo, A Red Badge of Courage, Pig Path, Bird In Hand, and The Cashier.
Amanda’s television work includes two seasons of Outrageous Pumpkins for Food Network and Discovery+, as well as Tubi’s Evil Among Us: I Survived a Serial Killer. Her commercial work includes the national GEICO Halloween campaign in partnership with Funko Pop and The Martin Agency, along with numerous other commercial, branded, and music video productions.

She brings an understanding of script breakdowns, continuity, character development, department coordination, and the fast-paced demands of production while creating looks that hold up both on camera and throughout the shooting day.
